It's a SH3 board, which has no bios, or bootloader. 
The kernel and initrd is loaded with a JTAG-debugger. 
The command line is set by writing to the memory location where the
kernel expects it.
Not as nice and powerfull as uboot ;)

This patch is what I was looking for. Thanks a lot. 
Are there plans to bring it into vanilla, or will it stay out-off-tree?
