Current AVGWG spec was focussed on the (D)TV&STB domain, and indeed it 'just' needs 'some' extensions for Mobile. 
I'd be happy to start some activity in this area, if more people are interested in joining this activity, and e.g. the MPPWG has some capacity to provide inputs on requirements and can do reviewing.

I'm glad to join the activity.  I am a engineer developing audio driver of linux smart phone, and find there's no standard interface of audio for app. I try to make it compatible with the Desktop Linux, but there're too much differences.
First of all, I think we'd better get requirements, perhaps we should design a app model, consisting of several standard working mode, not just some mechanisms.
